About this Book
Mendel is a boy who always prefers to use new supplies of pencils, glue, and paper, rather than his perfectly-usable old ones. Then one day Mendel has an astonishing encounter with none other than his old pencil – and it opens his eyes to the nuances ofbal tashchis.
Mendel and the Pencilis a charming book that teaches kids, in a fun and lighthearted way, how they too can be careful withbal tashchis!
